The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

Today I'm back with another blog post
and the product I'm going to talk about today is the well known

The Balm

It has been more than five months that I've been wanting this highlighter

I've seen it in so many tutorials
and videos on Youtube

I needed to have it

Then I made an order from
exclusively to get this product
If you haven't seen the Haul I will leave it down below
(I've added more items on my trolley since I was making this order)

it is the perfect colour for me

I would describe this colour as a Champagne colour
not too golden and not too silver either
Just the perfect colour in between!

Shiny without glitter particles

It feels so light on the skin, it is super fine
and easy to blend

It adds the most amazing glow

without looking too fake

I prefer this highlighter over the MAC Soft and Gentle

This has become my MUST HAVE highlighter

and the packaging....

super cute!!!

Do you have this product?

Let me know what you think about it

leave me a comment

SLEEK Arabian Nights Look PICTURES

Hi everyone
and welcome back

Today I'm back with a make up look I filmed using (for the eyes) the Sleek Arabian Nights Palette

I uploaded this look on youtube few weeks ago
and these are some pictures from it

If you want to know how I made this make up look
which colours from the palette I have used
I leave you the link of the video in case you haven't seen it down below

I hope you like the look
it came out a bit too dramatic
but hey, sometimes is good to play with colours and go far away from our comfort zone.

I also made a video review with swatches of this palette in case you missed it
I will leave the video of it as well

I love Sleek eyeshadows
each colour is always super pigmented

the quality is amazing

and they are also super affordable

do you own this palette?

what is your favourite Sleek palette?

let me know

NOTD // Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint in Eat My Dust

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

Today post is a Nail Of The Day

Today I'm wearing a nail polish by Barry M
and it is from their latest collection which came out few weeks ago
which is called the

SPEEDY Quick Dry

There are 9 super cute spring shades in this collection.
I've got myself only 2 shades

the one I'm talking about today is

Eat My Dust

this colour is very unusual
I don't own anything similar (I think)

It is a very light baby blue with a hint of lilac

This new line has something innovative for Barry M
It is a super FAST dry formula
and I can say that it is in fact super fast to day
when I painted my first finger nail, by the time I was painting the second nail,
the first finger nail was already dried

It is very handy if you are in a rush

they improved the brush
being wider to make it easy to apply in one coat

(I'm not too sure though if this brush will be ok as well to paint my small toe nails....
I've not tried it yet, I will let you know when I try it)

To me the application of this colour in particular was quite hard
the first coat was a disaster
it was very patchy
the second coat, didn't make a huge improvement

to have the perfect opacity I needed 3 coats

I'm not sure why this happened, because the second shade
I've got from this same collection was okay with the usual 2 coats

If you have bought this colour or any of the colours for the Barry M Speedy collection
let me know if you had a similar problem of mine

at the end of the day doing 3 coats it wasn't so bad especially since the polish dry instantly

But I wanted to mention it anyway

Let me know if you are going to try this polishes

or if you have already

leave me a comment

MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick in Persian Rose REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

Today I'm showing you this beautiful lipstick by
MUA Makeup Academy

This lipstick was a present from a youtube friend of mine
and you might remember me mentioning about it in one of my old video HAUL

I leave the video down below in case you haven't seen it

This lipstick is part of the regular line by MUA
and usually they retail for only £ 1.00

Even though the price is very low, it doesn't mean that the quality is as equally low

I personally find those lipstick very good and moisturising
they don't feel like a pound lipsticks on your lips at all

The colour I'm wearing is
Persian Rose

which to me is very similar (in creamy finish)
to MAC Candy Yum Yum
as you can see from this picture

Don't forget that the top part of the lipstick is a lip gloss

For the first few years that I owned a couple of lipsticks by MUA I wasn't aware of it..
since somebody commented under a video of mine, and told me so :)

It is a super good deal
for £1.00 you get a very good, well pigmented lipstick and a matching gloss

Do you like budget lipsticks?
What's your favourite one?

let me know

LEE STAFFORD Bleach Blondes Hot Shots REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

This isn't the first post this month about a Hair Product
but really during these last months I have been playing around a lot with my hair
especially with the tone of my hair and I'm enjoying discovering new options to change (even not permanently) my hair colour

Last time I wrote about the Bleach London Silver Toner Conditioner
and if you have missed this post, I leave you the link of the article HERE

Today I'm reviewing this product by a brand called

and the product I've been testing out is their

Bleach Blondes HOT SHOTS

I've bought this product in BOOTS
It retails for £ 7.49
(and most of the time there is a 3x2 offer, so you can get it for cheaper)

In the package you get 3 shots
each of them is 15 ml
(with my length one shot does it all, I'm not sure though if you have very long hair, you might need to use more than just one)

If you are interested to know how this product works, and you like to see a review/application
I made a video about it, showing the BEFORE and AFTER

I leave the video down below in case you missed it

Product Description

Lee Stafford Hot Shots is a Self Warming Ash Shampoo Treatment
which helps for canceling out the brassiness in your hair.
This treatment targets brassy, yellow tones in blonde hair to make hair bright and Ashy again.
It contains warming ginger and this shot stimulates and increases circulation due to its spicy ingredients. In fact to me it feels like cool/minty more than hot, as the name would suggest.

How to Use

Wash your hair with a normal shampoo, without using a conditioner then rinse your hair with a towel.
In the box it says to leave it for 2 minutes, massaging it into the scalp.
The more you keep it in your hair the more pinky/lilac colour tone you are going to get
it depends from what you want really.
I tried once for 10 minutes and I achieved an ashy tone on my hair, with a tiny hint of pink..
the second time (which is the time I filmed the video)
I kept it in my hair for 1 hr
and the pink HUE is much more visible.

I love this product and I would recommend it to any blondes out there

If you have tried it, let me know what you think about it

and if you have any question as usual, leave me a comment

NOTD // NAILS INC for Marie Claire in Festival

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

Today I'm back with another #NOTD

This time I'm wearing a NAILS INC London

for only £3.99 a full size nail polish by Nails Inc

Festival is the perfect
moody/taupy colour

so classic and sophisticated but at the same time in trend

The quality of the polish is totally high end
creamy, fast to dry, super glossy without top coat

I think this is the perfect colour all year around

The Balm Bahama Mama REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

If you saw one of my last video you probably know that recently I've bought this beautiful bronzer from TheBalm

It's not the only product I've got with that order from TheBalm so if you want to see my
Feelunique Haul
I leave you the link down below
(in case you haven't seen it)

Let's talk about the bronzer

This product is so beautiful..
even though I already own a lot of bronzers most of them are too orange for me
and really make me look like a clown sometimes
especially because I'm not really lighthanded

This bronzer by The Balm seems to be a tiny bit cooler toned than all of the bronzers I own
for my skin tone I feel this could work as well as a contour product

When it's on my face it look totally matte

but watching the picture and the swatches on my arm
it looks more satin than matte

It doesn't matter though cause I can assure you that it looks super natural on

I love the packaging as well.

so sleek and compact easy to carry in your make up back without wasting too much space

The fact that they didn't use a plastic packaging is a plus to me

cardboard is much friendly for the environment.

The mirror is the perfect size

what else can I say?

I'm very happy to have it!!!

and you?

what is your favourite bronzer?

let me know

Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Blond REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

Today I'm talking about the
Maybelline Brow Drama

I've bought mine in Dark Blond

I'm always been a big fan of eyebrow clear gel
and when this came out I wanted to see how a "colored" gel would have worked for me

There are more brands from the drugstores now coming out with this kind of product
Like MUA Makeup Academy

they all try to come out with a dupe for Benefit Gimme Brow

The colour of this brow mascara is just perfect
ashy dark blond
with no warm toned whatsoever

So I love it for that
the only issue for me, which is not a irrelevant one unfortunately, is the wand

Unfortunately this HUGE ball shape wand doesn't work for me

maybe is me, that I'm not able to use it.. but for me there was no point of such a huge wand

I tried to use this product using a wand from a clear mascara
and it works amazing, I mean I like it better

I heard many people liking this wand in particular

so I suppose it is a personal thing

Personally I wont re buy it only cause there is no point in having this product and needing a second wand to use it

but the product itself (the coloured gel) is fantastic
perfect shade
it looks natural
and it is long lasting throughout the day

Only an issue of wand ;)

have you tried it?
what do you think?
leave me a comment..

GARNIER Micellar Cleansing Water REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back.

Today post is about a product I've been using over the last few months,
a favourite of mine, but for some weird reasons I've never wrote a review about it.

As you can see from the pictures I'm talking about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Mine is nearly gone, I need to reproach another bottle soon.

I use this product in my skin care regime, in the morning and at night time

I use this as substitute of water
by saying that I mean that I don't use this only to remove my makeup

I mean, don't get me wrong, if you want to use just this in a cotton pad
it will do the job
(you might need few pads if you are wearing heavy waterproof make up)

Anyway this product feels good on my skin

I use it mostly for its soothing effect

Plush I love the packaging
Pink and cute!

So far this is the best Micellar water I have ever tried

You can get it in every drugstores, or even grocery stores
right now you can get it in Boots for £3.33

A simple but very important step in my skincare routine!!

Just lately I've seen in store a new version of these Garnier Micellar Water

the Combination and Sensitive Skin
which claims to purifying and mattefying the skin at the same time, might be just perfect
for my T zone :)

I haven't try it yet, if you have let me know what you think.

If you have any questions leave me a comment

Clearasil Superfruits Refreshing Pads REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

Today I'm talking about a product I've been using over the past few months

the Clearasil Daily Clear
Superfruits Refreshing Pads

I've bought mine from Superdrug
but I'm sure these are easy to find in every drugstores

These are 65 pads
and they do last ages

I usually use it in the morning (if it is a no makeup day, for deeply clean my skin)
or at nighttime especially over my nose (which is the part of my face where horrible black heads live)

I love the pads concept

They are handy on the go
Contain vitamin B3
Contain Raspberry and Cranberry extracts
Balanced with effective cleansing & kind to skin ingredients
and Dermatologist Tested

Glycerin first and Salicylic Acid after are the first two ingredients

It could be a bit "harsh" if you have super delicate skin

make sure not to use it near your eyes.

I love the berries scent

and since it has Salicylic Acid I think it helps to "calm down" my oily nose.. (I know sound disgusting but I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about)

I really recommend this item

check it out!

and if you have other products similar to this that you want to recommend me please leave me a comment

they are giving away full size nail polish by

MAX FACTOR Excess Shimmer 20 Copper REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

Today I'm posting about this new product I've bought from MAX FACTOR

Since I love so much the their Excess Shimmer in 25 Bronze
which I have already reviewed, you can actually read about it in my January Blog Post HERE

I went back to Boots and swatched some other Excess Shimmer

I decided to pick this one

20 Copper

which to me it isn't really a copper colour, it is more a champagne colour

but anyway

I've bought it

As you can see from the swatch
it is super shimmery/metallic

I love to use this all over my lids

It gives you a very natural look
even though it is shimmery is not over the top

It leaves a very natural "wet" look

and I love the fact that the staying power is amazing

once apply it you only have some seconds before it sets

I love this product

I definitely recommend this excess shimmer by Max Factor
to anyones

they are Fast to work with
they are Long Lasting

and they are Pretty!

Have you ever tried one of the Max Factor Excess Shimmer?

let me know

BLEACH London Silver Conditioner REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

During the last month or so I've been in a hair changing mood

I love my hair, I love my Fringe, I will probably keep it until I die

and I love Blonde hair

recently I was getting bored with my golden/warm blonde hair

at the same time though, I didn't want to "attack" my hair aggressively
with an usage of very chemical and harsh products

I still have some issues with some part of my hair especially the front part and my fringe

In the past I must have used a bad combination and some of my hair got really damaged

That's why I decided to go with

I've bought this product in Boots
and it is by the British brand

This is their Silver Conditioner
and on the website it claims this:

Bleach Silver Conditioner 250ml
With the help of violet pigments,
this daily conditioner will nourish blonde hair
and help preserve your perfect ashy blonde tone.

and I use it as a conditioner anytime I wash my hair
if I want more lilac hue to my hair
I apply this product on my hair and I leave it in for 30 minutes
and then wash it out

I love that this brand come with so many alternative of colours
and all these products aren't permanent you can wash it off after 8 to 10 washes.

But if you really hate the colour you have got
they even came out with a product which wash off your colour straight away

and it is called Washing Out Liquid

I love this conditioner, I'm probably going to try more colours,
I was thinking to get the Pink colour just for a change

what do you think??

have you ever tried a product by Bleach London?

let me know your experiences with colour toners

BATISTE Dry Shampoo Coconut & Exotic Tropical REVIEW

Hi everyone
and welcome back

Today I'm sharing with you my love for this dry shampoo

Definitely if I have to pick a brand
BATISTE is the one.

It was also the first ever dry shampoo I have ever tried

I'm not a huge user of dry shampoo
but I like to use it once a week
between washes

I usually use it the 3rd day, since I normally wash my hair every 4 days.

It is just perfect
I love the volume which gives you
and do you want to talk about the scent? actually scents??

I've tried many of their scent and this time I'm using the tropical one
Coconut & exotic scent

It does leave the white residue, but if you pass your hands through your hair
and brush it well

the white residue goes away straight away..

what's your favourite dry shampoo?
any recommendations?

Let me know what you have been loving

take care
