I decided to write this blog post about one of my favourite foundation.
I'm not a huge high end foundation collector, just because first of all the cost issue, and secondly, really I only have once face and going through all my foundations will take ages already as it is.
But for some reasons the only 3 high end foundations that I own are from
Yves Saint Laurent
my favourite is their
Fusion Ink Foundation
I'm in the shade
It comes in a beautiful glass bottle of 25 ml
(5 ml less than a usual foundation)
It has a fancy golden mirrored squared cap
that you have to remove in order to open the foundation (it doesn't screw)
I mostly apply it using my finger tips
it gives the best finish
being a water based foundation it goes on so easy like a serum
It has an SPF 18 / PA +++
It retails at £ 31.50 (which is a lot... but it's worth!)
FUSION FOUNDATION contains a combination of sensorial and volatile oils which, upon contact with the skin, evaporate away – leaving only a veil of perfect pigment behind. These oils also make application a deliciously sensorial experience.
Strengthened by the Yves Saint Laurent laboratory’s colour cosmetic expertise, the formula is bursting with pure, milled pigments each with a micro-coating that merges effortlessly with the surface of the skin, thereby extending the colour hold of the foundation as well as ensuring that the pigments maintain their radiance as the hours tick by.
Combined, the actives are able to identify and cater to the specific needs of the skin. The actives work in unison to both mattify and hydrate simultaneously, ensuring extreme long-wear, regardless of heat, humidity, night or day. The complexion remains fresh and free from imperfections from morning to night.
I love this foundation so much
it feels like skin but still leaving you looking flawless
I recommend it to all of you.. at least ask at the YSL counter for a free sample
that's how I discovered it myself, and decided to invest over 30 £ for it..
Because I was able to test it out and fall in love with:)
Let me know if you have tried it.
